Are you interested in joining our Carnival Troupe for 2025?
Derby West Indian Centre will be holding a carnival admissions workshop on Saturday 15th February 2025 from 12 noon to 1:45pm at the Derby West Indian Community Centre, Carrington Street, Derby, DE1 2ND.
The carnival admissions workshop is an opportunity to experience the movement, energy and creativity of carnival dance in a welcoming and engaging environment.
What to Expect:
- Learn a Carnival Routine – Take part in a high-energy session where you will learn a carnival-inspired dance routine.
- Creative Group Task – Work with others to explore movement and performance in a collaborative setting.
- Group Discussion – Share your interests and motivations for being part of the troupe.
Next Steps
Following the workshop selected participants will receive an invitation to join the 2025 carnival troupe.
